Ayurveda is a living knowledge system. Its texts, practices, and treatment approaches grew from sustained observation of people and nature. This journal is dedicated to presenting those approaches in a clear, scholarly form so they can be read, tested, and used with confidence today.

Read, think, analyse, write, and publish Ayurveda — and enrich the heritage of Ayurveda in today’s context.

We invite contributions that place classical sources at the centre. Authors should show which passages or sutras guided diagnosis and treatment, explain the clinical reasoning, describe interventions and timelines, and report outcomes with transparency. Case reports and case series must include informed consent and follow-up. Clinical studies and reviews should follow accepted reporting standards where applicable.

Scholarly rigor matters. Manuscripts should state methods clearly, declare ethical approvals and conflicts of interest, and provide precise citations for classical texts and modern literature. Where Sanskrit verses are used, provide translations and context so readers from many backgrounds can follow the reasoning.

Our aim is not preservation for its own sake. It is careful publication that tests, clarifies, and extends Ayurvedic thinking so the system can serve patients and scholarship now and into the future.
